V.A Hear 'n' Aid 1985


Hear 'n' Aid was a joint effort of the heavy metal scene of the eighties to end hunger in Africa. Initially conceived by musicians Jimmy and Vivian Brain Campbellal account incl given that there was very little participation of the stars of the metal in this aspect. The idea was extended to Ronnie James Dio who along with other artists bandaas as Dio, Quiet Riot, Giuffria, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, nTwisted Sister, Queensryche, Blue Oyster Cult, Dokken, Night Ranger, Judas Priest, WASP, Journey, Rough Cutt, Y & T and Vanilla Fudge, among others composed the song proyecyo logo, STARS. The disc also contains live songs from bands like KISS, Accept, Scorpions, Motorhead and Rush along with a Jimi Hendrix song called "Can You See Me".
